Amie photographed our wedding in May 2023 at Dodford manor in Northampton and we would recommend her to everyone! We first contacted Amie after spending hours on the internet looking for the right style of photographer that suited us. The quality and style of her images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that didn’t feel posed and in your face. Ames style was exactly what we were looking for, all her pictures are absolutely stunning with a gentle glow to them. We chatted over email and WhatsApp and decided to book in an engagement photoshoot to meet and get a feel for Ames techniques. After meeting with her it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product. We didn’t want to feel staged and generally awkward and Amie knew exactly how to make us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. It was useful to to practice posing and working together ahead of our wedding. We have the most beautiful and unrushed photos with out dog from that day which made us feel at ease when it came to the real deal! On the wedding day Amie was basically a part of the wedding party, from being with us when we were getting ready and just fitting in around us to helping me with the final dress tweaks and staying right to middle of the dance floor hits! We had some time for group pictures too, we have a complicated family due to separations and Amie bossed all of them! On the run up to the wedding, Amie was consistently communicative and nothing felt too much through he entire process. She would often check in with us and offered any further support where she could. Amie was an absolute joy to work with and it feels like we have gained a friend who we want to continue to photograph our life’s adventures! Amie was out photographer for our wedding in Wiltshire in 2021. I didn’t hesitate in choosing her as I knew how beautiful her photos were so she was the first person I thought of. Amie is so lovely and friendly, she made it so easy from the start, nothing was too much trouble.
